Designated Public Officials of the Pensions Authority

The Pensions Authority designated public officials in accordance with the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015.

Ms Fiona Tierney	Chair of the Pensions Authority	Chairs meetings of the Authority and leads the Authority in carrying out its statutory governance and oversight functions.
Ms Deirdre Shanley	Assistant Secretary General, Department of Social Protection Authority member (representative of the Minister for Social Protection)	Participates in the work and decisions of the Authority as the member appointed to represent the Minister for Social Protection.
Mr Michael J. McGrath	Assistant Secretary General, Department of Finance Authority member (representative of the Minister for Finance)	Participates in the work and decisions of the Authority as the member appointed to represent the Minister for Finance.
Mr Brendan Kennedy	Pensions Regulator	Performs the statutory and executive functions (CEO) assigned to the Pensions Regulator and leads the operation of the Authority.

Relevant bodies and the Transparency Code

Certain communications between members of task forces, working groups, advisory groups and similar bodies may be excepted communications under the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015 where the body meets the applicable statutory requirements and operates in accordance with the Transparency Code.

The Pensions Authority does not currently have any such body operating under the Transparency Code.
